I would like to send my deepest sympathies to Oliver's family. I hope you can all be there for each other, find comfort and find a way to smile one day about the cherished memories you hold of your dearest boy. I have spoken to many of his friends and Oliver was well loved by all that knew him. His friends have shared some beautiful memories and spoken such kind words. My thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time.

The tragedy of Oliver Gorman broke many people, physically and mentally. This includes me, as I did not show much sadness when I first heard, but it took me to tears when I went home. My family felt it, the death of someone I knew quite well, it brought me to an emotional state, a destroyed state, a version of me I never thought I would see. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you guys a happier life, Oliver will continue to look down on us from the heavens above.

Oliver was clearly a popular student who always put a smile on the faces of his friends. It was really heart-warming to see so many of his peers celebrate his life and remember Oliver in a lovely way that reflected his character and popularity at school.

I had the pleasure of teaching Oliver for Design Technology. Oliver always had a lovely cheeky smile and was one of the most polite and well mannered young adults that I have known. My thoughts go to your family at this most dreadful of times.

I am a Technology Technician at Denton Community Academy and, whilst supporting in his class, I saw Oliver calmly and quietly going about his work in his Technology lessons. It is clear he will be missed by his peers and my thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

As a mother of two children (1 at DCA) I can’t imagine how you are coping. My thoughts go out to you and your family. I think it’s amazing how you have set up a charity in his name, which will help others at a time of extreme sadness.
Thinking of you. Heather x
